For anyone who is considering being a part of the University of Nebraska Kearney Sapphires Dance Team in 2013-2014, tryouts are mandatory. 

Who: Any full time UNK student at the University of Nebraska Kearney for the 2013-2014 academic year.  

Where: University of Nebraska Kearney, Health and Sports Center 

When: Sunday, April 28 at 1pm.   

Wear: Prior to physical tryouts there will be a short interview in which applicants are encouraged to wear business attire. For the actual tryouts workout/dancing attire with appropriate dance shoes/jazz shoes.  

What: A choreophraphed routine will be taught at tryout time. Please come prepared with a self-choreophed dance (5 counts of 8; Please provide own music). The following skills will also be assessed at tryout time.
