Loper pride in athletics isn’t limited to the fields of our varsity teams. There’s just too much to go around. At UNK, you’ll never forget the opportunities, excitement, and fun provided by our lively and robust intramural programs. Students, faculty, and staff at UNK participate in intramurals here, both on an individual basis and as part of a team in competitive and recreational leagues.
Our Intramural Office is comprised of more than a dozen UNK students who serve on staff to make sure it’s the most comprehensive and enjoyable program you’ll find. You can contact their office, located in Room 119 of Cushing Facility, at (308) 865-8667. They’ll guide you through the process, but it starts with getting an official entry and turning it in to them.
You can make use of both indoor and outdoor facilities when you get involved in intramurals. The Field House offers six basketball courts and six volleyball courts. Main Hall features four racquetball and wallyball courts. On top of that, UNK provides three softball fields, one soccer field, three flag-football fields, and four tennis courts.
