Memorial Student Affairs Building
2510 11th Avenue Kearney, NE 68849
Constructed in 1957 and remodeled in 1964 and 1984, this building was built in honor of the 28 men from KSTC killed in action during World War II. Originally named the Veterans Memorial Student Union, it served as the campus’ first permanent Student Union. It was built in order to replace the temporary Student Union which consisted of an old army officers club and a warehouse that were moved to campus. The building contained a ballroom capable of seating 600 as well as the campus snack bar, offices, a lounge and a game room. This building currently houses offices for Admissions, Honors, the Campus Post Office, Career Services, Counseling and Health Care, Student Support Services, Financial Aid, and the Academic Advising Center.
