UNK Card Uses
Athletic Events-The Athletic Ticket Office requires your UNKCard to verify current enrollment status for admission to regular season athletic events.

Loper Dollars is the debit account feature of your UNKCard is perhaps the most popular aspect of your UNKCard. Working much like a bank debit card, money can be placed in an account that can be drawn upon for purchases at many locations on campus. Loper Dollars do carry over from semester to semester.

Free Printing-UNK students automatically receive $2.50 credit per semester for free printing from certain networked printers on campus. The free printing credit does not carry over from semester to semester. Once the allotment is gone, Loper Dollars can be used to pay for printing. Printing is $.05 per page at most black and white printers including those in the residence hall computer labs. For more information on printing, visit the ITS NETPRINT web page.

Recreation/Intramurals-The UNKCard is required at all intramural games, individual contests, and to check out Intramural Sports equipment. If an individual is asked to present their ID card by any of the Intramural Sports personnel and the participant does not have their card, they are not eligible to participate in that current game or contest. Faculty, Staff and Students must also show their UNKCard to access weight rooms and other programs within the UNK recreation areas.

Your first UNKCard is free however a nonrefundable $5 fee is charged to replace damaged, lost or stolen cards. The University is not responsible for the use of a lost or stolen card. When UNK Card Office is notified of a lost or stolen card, the card will be de-activated for all on-campus services. If you have both the UNK Card and the linked UNK Card/Wells Fargo Bank Card, both cards will be deactivated if either card is reported as lost or stolen.

Library-Loper Dollars can be used to pay fines at the Calvin T. Ryan Library. Just present your UNK ID Card at the library circulation desk and ask to use your Loper Dollars for payment.
